Plains Rally; Marshalling in SS2, Dyfi Saturday 19th May
Details are available regarding the Dyfi
(SS2) stage that we have agreed to help
run with Arthur Jones as the stage
commander. The stage is 8.4 miles
long with 12 Posts/Junctions and we
will need to signed on by 7:45am Arthur has got
his usual finish crew sorted but may
need Arrival and Start crews as well
as in-stage Marshals. It is unlikely
to have many speccies due to the
nature of the stage. So, please let
me (Pete White) know if you can help
as soon as possible. I will
pass on all the stage details to the
people who offer to help...
Approximately 100 miles with a
maximum entry of 60 Cars. The rally will be
open firstly to Novices and Beginners
but we will also be rlunning a
Semi-Expert class.

The format for AutoMark Novice Rally will follow closely the
many National B Road Rallies in
this region but has been
designed with help to newcomers
to the sport in mind.
The rally will run 100 miles on
maps 116 & 117 starting at AutoMark
in Ruthin.
Route is mainly tarmac and about
5 miles of whites (definitely
not a car breaker) but please
ensure your car has a good sump
guard fitted (The sump guard is
only advice from an organiser
and fellow competitor but not
required in the regulations).
NB: I've had
a driver looking for a navigator
so I will start a 'dating'
service. Let me know;

petition to encourage the Government to
exempt Air Ambulance services from duty
on the fuel they use, in the same way as
the Lifeboats (RNLI) are exempt. If we
gain 100,000 signatures then Parliament
is duty bound to debate the issue.
