We were established in 1966 and organise events throughout the year including:-

We enjoy and promote Motor Sport in most of its disciplines; Rallying, Sprinting, Autotesting, Car Trials, etc. and the main purpose of this website is to provide the latest information for members of the Club, whatever form of Motor Sport that they follow.

The Pwll Gwyn Country Inn Restaurant is a country inn set in the beautiful Welsh countryside. It dates back to the 17th Century and is steeped in history with its exposed beams, open fire and many other original features.

Clwyd Vale Motor Club is a motor club registered with the ASN (National Sporting Authority) for the UK, the Motor Sports Association (MSA). One of our stated aims is "To further interest in motoring and motor sport." We do this by organising a variety of events, many of which are detailed in the pages of this site. We are based in the Vale of Clwyd, North Wales, hence our name. To get an idea of where that is, type Denbigh into Multimap or Google. In our area we have some of the best forests for Stage Rallying in the UK; Wales Clocaenog, and some of the best lanes for our Road Rallies, which take place at night.

Our most famous members are Club President David Richards of Prodrive and Vice President Ari Vatanen (1981 World Rally Champion and now a Member of the European Parliament). The late F1 driver, Tom Pryce was also closely associated with the Club.
