Firstly a big THANK YOU to all our marshals without whom
we would have not been able to run this event. As usual
it was left to the same old faces with a bit of outside
help. Thank You All.
I don’t know what we are
doing right but again we had a bumper entry 31 National
B's and 16 Clubman, with 6 joining on the day. Following
the poor weather during the week, as I promised Sunday
was a warm and pleasant.
Pete Dale secured two
extra fields and was able to set out a variety of
testing hills for the competitors.
This did not deter
Barrie Parker as he took his Toyota MR2 to his second
outright win of the weekend, promoting him to lead of
the MSA Championship.
The Clubman’s class was
taken, with a near perfect drive by Dan Jones in a Ford
Fiesta, with the car’s owner Dave Edwards taking second
place.
A BIG thanks to Peter
Williams for sponsoring the event and to Pete Dale for
organizing the Hills.
Graham.
