...it can also be
reported that Andy and Brian finished a very
creditable 12th overall and picked up a
second in class award. Some pictures that
are to follow will show the state of Andy's
tyres and his heroic decision not to change
them before attacking the last loop of 3
stages. (Oh! I just remembered, he didn't
have any other tyres!)

Rally GB 2008
5-7th December
Marshalling Update
"I don't like starting
with apologies as it sets the wrong tone but this
one is needed. This newsletter email was supposed to
have been sent during August but technical issues
and other work commitments have meant that it didn't
happen so I apologise for the lateness.
Now that's out of the way Id like to say welcome to
the second marshals newsletter for the 2008 Wales
Rally GB. Its now 4 months to go to the event.
Things are moving forward from a marshalling point
of view and the detailed event planning has been
going well, leading to a few minor changes to the
schedule but nothing too major!
Following the June newsletters request for a snappy
title, we narrowed it down to 3 choices for the web
forum members to chose the title for the new
newsletter. We carry on our Who's Who series with
the senior event organisers and give an update to
the WRC following Rally Finland. Hope you enjoy the
read".
To view the
newsletter please click on the following link:

We hope you enjoy the
newsletter and will come and join us on the event.
Thanks
